Hi everyone, Victoria here! Thank you for taking time to get to know TeamVEB! Here is just a little insight in each of us! As a team, we take huge pride in making our bride’s experience a positive one and we all look forward to meeting you in the boutique soon!
Victoria
It has always been my dream to open this boutique. The dream became a reality and to this day, I still have to pinch myself when I walk through the door every morning. My passion for weddings began as a bridesmaid, aged 7, but my obsession with bridal design developed in my teens. During these years I would sneak in to a bridal shop in Bluewater and just stare at the satin and sparkle, without realising this would be my future endeavours. Before opening the boutique, I managed and worked in bridal shops, but felt frustration when the emphasis wasn’t on the bridal experience….before I knew it, Victoria Elaine Bridal was born!
As the Director, my responsibilities are varied, but you will see me popping my head in to appointments- don’t be alarmed, I just love getting involved! Usually, I am found at the desk placing your orders or arranging the next exciting event for the boutique to host.
During my spare time, I am spending time with my husband or little boy. Life changed a lot for me personally during the pandemic, so I am enjoying making happy memories with my important people.
Favourite part of my job: Seeing the photos of our #vebride’s wedding day, knowing that we played a small part in making it special.
Favourite gown: It has to be anything from the Disney Fairy Tale Wedding collection, but specifically the Cinderella from the 2020 collection. It just melts my heart!
Amy
Amy is one of our original TeamVEB members, having worked at the boutique since October 2018. It is likely your appointment will be hosted by Amy. Having worked in several bridal boutiques previously, she has a vast knowledge of the bridal market and trends , but Amy’s passion lies in ensuring her brides have a magical experience when visiting our boutique. Often named in our 5* customer reviews, brides love her friendly, no pressure attitude to appointments.
As well as appointments, Amy will also be the team member to book in your fittings and take you through the alteration process with our seamstress, Jane.
During her time away from the boutique, Amy is mummy to her two children and makes sure she finds the time to unwind over a glass of gin with friends.
Favourite part of my job: I love meeting all of my brides and most importantly seeing happy tears when they find ‘the one’.
Favourite gown: Carmen by Abella is a dress I always dress a bride in when her search allows. It is stunning and holds you in all the right places!
Jenna
Jenna joined #TeamVEB in 2021, returning to work after having her three sons! As one of our bridal stylists, Jenna hosts appointments with our brides and is passionate about finding her ladies the perfect dress for them! Coming from a ‘fashion forecasting’ background, Jenna keeps up to date with trends and her strength lies in styling your bridal style to tie in with your wedding theme! Jenna is the stylist for you if you need some styling advice or are unsure about which styles would suit your body shape!
As well as appointments, Jenna works with Victoria to design our elaborate window displays. Having worked in visual merchandising, she has an eye for detail!
When not working at Victoria Elaine Bridal or looking after her football infatuated sons, Jenna loves to socialise with friends or spend quality time with her family.
Favourite gown: Belle 2023 is not the usual style I would go for, but I just love it! It has everything but is still minimalist!
Favourite part of the job: When the bride says Yes and you know you have played a part in making that special memory.
Jane- Seamstress
Jane is a freelance bridal seamstress with over 25 years experience in the business! A talented seamstress is always a busy one, and Jane is certainly that! As well as working from Victoria Elaine Bridal with our #vebrides, she also works with another boutique as well as hosting private appointments from her home studio. You will meet Jane in your first alterations fitting, who will then work on your gown and make it fit perfectly to your form.
When Jane isn’t working, she loves nothing more than spending time with her family and animals which includes dogs and horses.
