Here’s a date for the diary! We are re-opening on Tuesday 16th June 2020!
Following the governments announcement that retail businesses can re-open on the 15th, we have taken the decision to re-open on Tuesday, 16th June.
We can not wait to be back, helping our wonderful brides find their dream wedding dresses in our boutique. We have gowns by Hayley Paige, Eddy K, Ellis, Jennifer Wren and Eliza and Ethan all waiting to be tried on in your appointments! In order to celebrate our re-opening, we will be offering brides to be who say YES to their dress on or before the 16th of July £100 off their accessories. Not only this, but the first 5 brides to say yes will also receive a special thank you present too. T’s and C’s apply.

In order to reopen, all businesses are required to follow the government guidance for their business sector. During lockdown we have been working diligently to ensure we will be ‘covid-secure’ by putting in place many protocols.
These are as follows;
Reducing the number of appointments each day from 10 to 4 to allow the team time to carry out additional cleaning tasks.
Working on an appointment only basis to control the footfall and enable social distancing.
Hosting a phone/ virtual chat ahead of your appointment in order for all to fully understand the protocols and procedures. Signage will also be on display in the boutique.
Reducing the number of guests allowed to each appointment. Bridal styling appointments are limited to one guest of honour. Guest numbers vary for each appointment so please enquire when making your booking.
Temperature checks at the door- 37.7′ or lower and you are good to go! Any higher, and we will reschedule your appointment for when you are feeling better. This will include staff who will be only too happy to take their temperatures at the start of your appointment for peace of mind.
Sanitising station for all to use.
Staff and stylists to wear the appropriate PPE as set out in the guidelines.
Brides and guests to wear masks (which we can provide if you do not have your own).
In order to socially distance, you will have exclusive use of the boutique. This will mean using our full changing suite for changing and having enough space to strut your stuff in our showroom where your guest will be.
A full clean of the changing area and showroom between each appointment (going beyond what the government requires- they state only changing rooms to be cleaned).
Staff to sanitise their hands repeatedly throughout the day, including before, during and after appointments. We will also be going beyond the government guidance and be changing our clothes to avoid outside contamination.

The fine print
Note- although we aim to work at a socially safe distance, there may be scenarios when this is impossible (should you request assistance with a gown for example). As per the guidance, businesses need to take all mitigating actions to minimalize risk. This is because the government recognises that social distancing can be broken if you do so safely. Therefore; we have changed the logistics of how we run the appointments and staff will be wearing more PPE than is actually required. Staff will also be fully trained in how best to limit this interaction and work alongside the bride safely.
Note regarding existing dress orders- As soon as we re-open, we expect to receive many deliveries of gowns that brides ordered pre-lockdown. As per our own guidance, we will be isolating packages for a time when they arrive to the boutique so please do not panic if we do not contact you immediately. As soon as your gown has been quality approved by our team, we will be calling to arrange your fittings.
T’s and C’s
The £100 off accessories offer is valid to any bride who orders her gown and puts an initial 50% payment against her gown at Victoria Elaine Bridal between 16/6/20 and 16/7/20. The accessories must be chosen at point of order. Any monetary difference for accessories must be paid in full at point of order. This can not be transferred to cash or other discount. Once order is placed, it can not be cancelled or refunded as per our standard terms and conditions of sale.
