As you know, we are the stockist for Kent of this magical collection, so keep reading for the lowdown on our samples from the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings 2022 collection!
Different to previous years, each of the 9 princesses have a dress inspired by their character AND an elevated style! We chose 10 of a possible 18 gowns, and believe us, it was a hard choice!
So let’s get started with dress number 1!
Ariel- D310 
What Disney Fairy Tale Weddings say…
The Ariel-inspired gown is adorned with sequins and beadwork across the dimensional patterned embroidery of the bodice. Tulle and organza swirls compose the skirt, reminiscent of the roll and swell of the ocean’s tide.

We absolutely adore this gown! The embellished sparkle offers our brides the type of sparkle fellow magpies, like us, are after! And while we have seen ruffled dresses for Ariel before, this one is lighter in weight so potentially easier to manage on your big day!
Aurora- D311
What Disney Fairy Tale Weddings say…
Soft, multilayered tulle lends a dreamy appeal to our Aurora gown with its understated silhouette, paired with exposed boning and delicate floral appliqués across the strapless bodice. Detachable bishop sleeves finish the look.

THE SLEEVES! Since this collection launched, we have had more brides enquire about the sleeves than the dress! This Aurora inspired gown captures this Princess’s essence more than any other dress (in our opinion) and is a dress to consider if you are looking for something romantic!
Belle- D312
What Disney Fairy Tale Weddings say…
This classic satin finish ballgown, lined with sparkling Swiss dot tulle, features intricately beaded floral appliqués as a nod to Belle’s iconic motif: the rose.

We were disappointed that the original Belle inspired gown was discontinued as brides love satin…but this gown flatters from all angles and offers so much sparkle! It is available with the bodice lined or unlined meaning you can make it more modern or traditional, depending on your style.
Cinderella- D313
What Disney Fairy Tale Weddings say…
High-contrast scrolled appliqués, adorned in tonal beadwork, cover the bodice of this Cinderella-inspired gown, leading to a stunning A-line skirt lined in our new glass slipper-inspired tulle.

This dress takes the winning silhouette of the Cinderella inspired gown from the 2020 collection, with the lace of the Aurora gown from the same year….and mixes them up!
The result is a princess dress to die for! And we are obsessed with the glass slipper tulle, we happen to have a veil that matches perfectly! A Cinderella bride can’t have too much sparkle!
Jasmine- D314
What Disney Fairy Tale Weddings say…
Paying tribute to the 30th anniversary of Disney’s “Aladdin,” this gown reflects Jasmine’s confidence — with a long sleeved bodice featuring tonal beading, dimensional blooms, and dramatic embroidery, beautifully balanced with an enchanting soft A-line tulle skirt.

We requested more sleeved dresses from this collection and Disney Fairy Tale Weddings delivered with this gown! The beading and pattern in the lace brings the Arabic vibes and the floaty, tulle skirt in the soft A-line silhouette is really popular at the moment!
And…how can Aladdin be 30 years old! Anyone else feeling ancient?
Pocohontas ELEVATED- D325 
What Disney Fairy Tale Weddings say…
Reminiscent of windswept autumn leaves, the delicate leaflike lace pattern overlay on this Pocahontas-inspired gown is interwoven with beads and offset by a tonal beaded trim along the neckline and waist, as well as a fitted sparkling sequined tulle underlay.

The Pocohontas inspired gown from the 2021 collection was popular due to the leaves in the lace. Not every bride wants a floral pattern on their gown, so we were thrilled to see similar motifs on this elevated style. It really summarises the natural nature of this Princess, with some extra sparkle, which never disappoints us!
Rapunzel- D316
What Disney Fairy Tale Weddings say…
Inspired by Rapunzel’s free-spirited nature, this ballgown features a crocheted cotton lace bodice with soft cap sleeves, along with a full skirt in swiss dot sparkle tulle — beautiful, comfortable and perfect for your wedding adventure.

We haven’t seen many examples of dresses where a boho style combined with a princess, sparkly, ball gown skirt that work, but this dress is wonderful and means brides really can have it all!
We also really love the bow detail at the back- it offers brides some coverage for the side of the their backs where a lot of women feel conscious!
Snow White- D317
What Disney Fairy Tale Weddings say… 
The Snow White-inspired gown pays homage to the 85th anniversary of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” This gown adds a touch of modernity to the Princess’s classic look with a square neck crepe bodice and soft tulle skirt, finished with a chic low back and trailing apple blossom-inspired appliqués. Accessorizing the gown is a stunning full-length cape, inspired by the film.

How refreshing is it to see a wedding dress with a plain top and embellished skirt?? Not everyone wants to draw attention to their bust and this crepe bodice, along with it’s square neckline will be super flattering for you!
But as it is Snow White inspired, a little whimsy goes a long way! And the forest like detail on the skirt and matching cape bring all the Princess vibes you need for your big day!
Tiana- D318
What Disney Fairy Tale Weddings say…
Inspired by Tiana’s grace and determination, this gown features a beautiful cascading floral appliqués reminiscent of sweeping bayou foliage, iridescent sequins, Swiss dot sparkle tulle and a striking detachable train.

How could you not love this dress and the drama the detachable train brings to it is unmeasurable! As soon as we saw this dress, we knew we had to have in our collection! And even if you think the train may be too much (is there such a thing?), the dress on it’s own is red carpet worthy!
And because we couldn’t stop at 9 dresses……!
Ariel ELEVATED- D320
What Disney Fairy Tale Weddings say… 
This ball gown features stunning organza ruffles inspired by ocean waves and Ariel’s sense of adventure. The off-the-shoulder sweetheart bodice, covered in pearl beading, crystals, and sequins, is simply stunning.

This dress reminded us of our Hayley Paige collection, so we knew our brides had to see it! The ruffled skirt is a trend that is in demand right now! The beaded bodice adds that whack of sparkle that our brides love, and because it has the higher back, we opted for our sample to be a size 18.
